Four Steps to Buying a Home

I will guide you through the process to help you make the best financial and personal investment.

Financial experts agree, investing in real estate is one of the smartest portfolio-building strategies. Buying a new home is an investment in your future. I will assist you in making the best financial and personal investment.

1. Mortgage Pre-approval

It is crucial in today’s changing real estate market to demonstrate strength in purchasing power; sellers are more motivated to negotiate with pre-approved buyers. I can help you with selecting a knowledgeable and reputable lender.

When meeting with your lender, ask questions like: What will this cost? What type of loan should I get? Can I afford this payment with my current income? Your lender will explain financial considerations such as down payment, closing costs, escrow accounts as well as monthly payments. Be sure to ask for a pre-approval letter. When you are ready to make an offer, having a pre-approval letter will make you more attractive to the seller.

2.  Professional Representation

The ever-changing real estate market can be frightening, confusing and overwhelming. More than ever it is wise to have the services of the experts in the industry. I specialize in providing buyers trust and loyalty when purchasing a home.

3. Contracts, Appraisals, Inspections, and Policies

A contract must be written to receive acceptance from the seller. I will guide you through writing an offer, appraisals, inspectors, and escrow. Your lender will require an inspection and an appraisal to determine the value of the home you have selected. I will keep you informed every step of the way.

4. Closing and Keys

On the scheduled day of closing, I will meet you at the title company to guide you through the final steps of closing the transaction. This is the time when all final lending documents are signed and notarized.  The balance of your down payment and closing costs are due and payable at the closing table. After you and the seller sign the deeds and lender documents, you will be handed the keys to your new home!
